Aircraft Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Popular Southern California Shoreline
An aircraft flying over a popular California shoreline abruptly commenced twirling out of control, finally losing altitude and crashing into a cluster of palm groves as spectators observed.
Recordings uploaded on social media show the chopper commencing to spiral above Huntington Beach then descending in the direction of the border of the shore, where it becomes wedged amidst palm groves and a set of stairs close to the coastal road.
Rescue Operation Information
Local firefighters said five individuals were transported to a medical facility comprising two individuals who were in the helicopter and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the accident on that day.
Three persons on the street were injured. Information on their injuries were not yet released.
The cause of the crash was not yet disclosed.
